Marcos Asensio has praised Real Madrid team-mate Cristiano Ronaldo’s hunger to win, stating that the Ballon d’Or winner’s work ethic provides those around him with a desire to constantly improve.
Los Blancos have won three Champions Leagues in the last four years, with Ronaldo as the driving force, and the attacking midfielder, who scored in the 4-1 win over Juventus a fortnight ago, has explained that the Portuguese sets the tone with the way he trains.
“What I admire about him is the ambition he has after having won so many things on a collective and individual basis,” the 21-year-old told Marca.
“The hunger he still has, the way he trained and the same he stays in the gym once we've finished. He always wants more and that affects the rest of the team. In every training session, you learn from him.”
Meanwhile, he says that the team have to aim just as high next season.
