Mohamed Salah is expected to complete his long-awaited transfer from Roma to Liverpool by Thursday as he travels to undergo a medical in England.
An agreement has now been reportedly reached with the extras, which could ultimately reach £39m, having the potential to make the package the club’s highest outlay on a player.
It would surpass the £35m purchase of Andy Carroll in January 2011.
His signing is expected to be made official by June 22 on a five-year deal with a salary in the region of £90,000 a week.
