Water is one of the most common substances on earth, and one of the most vital; it’s a tremendously valuable resource, yet one we squander and pollute prodigiously. Water is deceptive. For a while it pours freely from the heavens and seems to flow endlessly in rivers, it’s a finite resource; we only have what we have, but we have opportunity to now learn about what and its tremendous capabilities, maybe we can then learn to appreciate this though common phenomenon of yet, yet so invaluable and indispensable...

* Water is made up of two elements, hydrogen and oxygen. Its chemical formula is H2O.

* Each molecule of water is made up of two hydrogen atoms bonded to a single oxygen atom.

* The existence of water is essential for life on Earth.

* Water has three different states, liquid, solid and gas.

* The word water usually refers to water in its liquid state. The solid state of water is known as ice while the gas state of water is known as steam or water vapor.

* Water helps to maintain healthy body weight by increasing metabolism and regulating appetite.

* Water leads to increased energy levels. The most common cause of daytime fatigue is actually mild dehydration.

* Drinking adequate amounts of water can decrease the risk of certain types of cancers, including colon cancer, bladder cancer, and breast cancer.
