You have lost the chance to own a brand new car

There is a guy in a state who had repeatedly accused a governor of massive corruption through the media Houses .

The guy was later invited to the  government house by the governor who insisted he chartered a Keke NAPEP that he (the governor) will pay and that he already instructed the securities.                                         

The guy arrived and the Gov told him to let the Keke man go that his men will drop him later, he gave him N200,000 to pay the Keke man "let the Keke man remember the day he brought a passenger to the Govt House", the Gov said. He went out and settled the Keke man. The Gov asked on his return what the reaction of Keke man was after giving him such huge amount, and he said the Keke man was dazed with shock .

He didn't know the securities had been instructed to stop the Keke man at the 2nd gate and bring him back. When he returned, the Gov asked him, "how much did he give you"?  And the Keke man said N2,000!

The Gov smiled and said  "you see ... from N200,000 to N2,000; you pocketed N198,000 .... only you! You have lost the chance to own a brand new car, look at the key here; I thought you were an honest man, I was even looking forward to working with you... but you seems worse. You can leave now with your N198,000 ! "Thanks for coming.

Since then, his voice has disappeared from the air waves! It is easy to accuse, castigate and antagonise others but are we any better if we find ourselves in same shoes?

Hmnnnn...When our loyalty/honesty is being tested, may we not be found wanting. Being truthful, honest and straightforward has its rewards.
