According to Abdullahi, before the current board assumed office, there is no organised or team truncture for Archery throughout Nigeria.
The federation boss stated that since he took the mantle of leadership to date the game of Archery has blossomed with organised structure as a Federation Board, trickling down to established Clubs in Lagos, Abuja and Niger States.
Abdullah, who is also the Deputy Secretary General of Nigeria Olympics Committee rolled out the Federation’s plan for 2019, which includes training of officials and several competitions.
From the schedule of activities on the federation calendar for 2019, courses for local trainers and technical officials as well as training and competition for beginners will hold from March 18th to 26th March.

Grade 1 Coaching and Technical Course will hold from May 15th to 25th with instructors from the World Archery Federation.
Presentation of Strategic & implementation plan for four years from 2019 - 2023 will hold at the general congress comprising the Federation Board, State Chapters, Archery Club Owners and Stakeholders is also slated for the year.
