Did you know your hand sanitizer can explode in your car?

Since the pandemic disease-COVID-19 began in the country, the relevant health authorities have continually encouraged the citizens to ensure regular washing of hands and most importantly make use of hand sanitizers in order to prevent one from contracting the disease.
However, little did anyone dwell on the safety precautionary measures to be taken when using the sanitizers, which is known to be inflammable due to it's constituents.

A Twitter user, @raymondmuzembe, said: "I just got a bizarre incident report related to work. This image was a result of hand sanitizer being left in a hot vehicle. It’s flammable and at risk of exploding under certain conditions. Especially the pump type sanitizers. For those of you that drive. Take note this".

The hand sanitizer was said to have gone into flames after subjection to high temperature inside the car that was parked inside the sun.

It is advisable to take your hand sanitizer along with you, rather than leave it inside the car, to avoid possible explosion, since it's content is inflammable.
